You can see the map here
    http://kyliedog.com/travels/index.html
and if you click on the Washington, Seattle area you will see that photos taken at the space needle are showing Vernazza, Italy which is obviously WAY wrong. Since the geotag is correct what can be done to fix this?

    Thanks

    hmmm... strange little bug?

I fixed it simple by going to the "photos" tab and using the "check your photos" search tool at the bottom of the page to search for the names of the problem photos. Then just click to have them rechecked at Flickr. That fixed the problem and they've now got the right location showing.

    that's one busy dog!

Weird I deleted them and had them rechecked and they came back with Italy but apparently you've got the magic touch!!

She is busy and she likes to travel, what can I say. After we got home from Seattle and unpacked went out to the garage and she tried to get in the car cause it was time to go again. :)

    Thanks for fixing the problem.

The problem is back, do I have to keep having the photos rechecked? They show up correctly on the map but have Italy listed as the location. I manually updated the photo but it looks like when I add new photos it defaults to the Italy location and I have to remember to manually recheck again.

Still an issue, photos appear in the right places but they say Italy. Very odd.

Now fixed. I've switched the location name to being provided by Flickr rather than our own system. They didn't have anything when I built the process several years ago but now any new photos found by Trippermap will have a location that matches what city or locality Flickr thinks it is in their system.
